A Texas writer with a fondness for folklore, sharp edges, and a wink at the absurd, Stevie Ferguson writes speculative fantasy laced with dystopian tech and magipunk grit. Her work paints intricate settings, but its heart lies in the deeply human characters who inhabit them—their contradictions, connections, and messy attempts to make sense of the worlds they’ve been given. When Stevie isn’t writing, you can find her reading Robin Hobb, Scott Lynch, Brandon Sanderson, and Ursula K. Le Guin. She also enjoys dominating karaoke, being mid at storm chasing, and getting lost in the woods, all while maintaining a caffeine-to-blood ratio of 3:1. She is currently polishing up her debut novel, The Hedge Witch, and birthing a body of short fiction along the way.
